Current Needs Needed

The world is being shaken these days and with that comes darkness but it is times like this when God’s family get to bring light and hope to a frightened world. Even in the midst of isolation in Liberia, TLP is looking for ways to bring peace and comfort to their community. 

To make an impact, we are seeking help to provide food and other essential supplies to the people in the Moriis Farm area as well as continue to care for the 84 children on Campus. Here are some specifics:

1. We need about 30 sponsors that will commit financially to and prayerfully to support a child on campus.
2. Monthly support for food, clothing, medical and shelter for the TLP Family
3. Power on Campus – the Liberian government is slowly bringing power to more areas of the country and it is now available to us however there is a cost to upgrade our wiring and install power poles. It will run approximately $10,000 to do all the upgrades
4.  Education – School is on hold for the moment but we are hopeful the children will be able to return to university and regular classes soon. 

This all can seem overwhelming but our God will provide. He chooses to do that through his people so we bring all of this to your attention so that you might pray and respond. Thank you for being a part of these children’s lives.

TLP Snapshot

The Lord’s Prayer Outreach Center is in Liberia. It is near Monrovia, Liberia’s capital city. After 15 years of civil war and military dictatorship there are thousands of orphans who have been left without help. 

God has called the Lord’s Prayer Outreach Association Inc. to care for the hurting lost children in war torn countries. At present our work is in Liberia, West Africa, but in time TLP will take this model of caring for children to other places in the world. 

The goal is to train up children to become the next generation of leaders in their country. They are to multiply what has been entrusted to them in terms of education, mercy, grace and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
